Cesarean Scar Release Therapy
Microcurrent Point Stimulation is a well researched, Health Canada approved treatment for scar tissue healing and pain reduction. The Dolphin Neurostim is a concentrated electrocurrent tool that aims directly into the thick scar tissue to release adhesions and increase tissue pliability while decreasing scar pain and discomfort. The Dolphin Neurostim works at the cellular level to speed healing and in turn releasing painful adhesions.
The number one reason for surgery in Canada is a Cesarean section delivery, according to the latest data from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), and it is steadily climbing. We see this treatment as a great addition to our postpartum tool kit at HealthSpace Collective and we are so excited to be offering this service in the Durham region. Cesarean section healing looks different for everybody but often includes lingering pain, numbness and tight multilayered adhesions. As part of our functional postpartum abdominal retraining, this cesarean scar release provides a foundation for recovery.
Treatment is covered under your chiropractic insurance benefits.
