IV Drip Therapy

Welcome to our IV Drip Therapy Clinic, where we specialize in providing rejuvenating and revitalizing intravenous treatments to support your health and well-being.

What is IV Therapy?

We are sure you have been seeing a bunch of pictures online of your friends, celebrities, or influencers attached to IV lines and you must be wondering: “How are the bags helping?” and “Are these people doing okay?”

Well, if they are receiving the IV drips at a licensed facility and from a licensed practitioner, then yes, they are doing more than okay! In fact, they are receiving a lot of different essential nutrients to help maintain energy, recover, and support overall health.

IV therapy is the fastest and more direct way of getting your vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and nutrients into your body. Of course, you can get these (and should get these) through your diet and other supplements you might be taking. But, your absorption is completely dependent on your digestive tract and not everyone can absorb all of the nutrients that they need. By taking them via an IV, we bypass the digestive tract and the nutrients are introduced directly to your bloodstream so that you can get all of the benefits and achieve much higher dosages than when taken orally.

This means that these nutrients are available immediately to start supporting your body, so that you feel better quicker.

What nutrients are used in IV Therapy?

Our formulas have been carefully formulated to deliver results. We use naturally-derived bio-available nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids in your bag. The most common ingredients are:

– Vitamin C
– Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Selenium
– B Complex
– Vitamin B12
– Glutathione

Is IV Therapy Safe?

Side effects and complications are rare, and most people tolerate the IV therapy really well. Your Naturopathic Doctor will be sure to walk you through any possible risks associated with the drip prior to your appointment.

There may be some slight irritation, but for most people, it is quite comfortable and relaxing. We give you a heat pack to place over the IV site to reduce discomfort or irritation and you get to read or use a tablet during the drip.

Procedure

1. Book an appointment with a naturopathic doctor. During this appointment, a health intake and physical assessment will be done to choose the best formula and ingredients to suit your needs, and to ensure we can safely administer the IV.
2. Bloodwork. We require all of our IV patients to have recent bloodwork, either done through your GP or through a Naturopathic Doctor. This allows us to make sure that you can safely receive an IV.
3. Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your IV, and come having eaten a meal or snack.
4. Your infusion will be administered by a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the comfortable IV lounge. Bring a book, earphones, laptop or tablet to use during your treatment, or simply lay back and relax. Maybe even take a nap!

IV Lounge

If you are anything like us, you will want to know what to expect and what the room looks like before showing up.

Our IV lounge has 5 recliner chairs. This means it’s an open space that could be shared with other people who may be dripping at the same time as you. If you prefer privacy, we’ve made sure to have curtains you can pull to be able to fully relax and zone out.

The lounge is meant to be a relaxing space. You will be offered warm tea, a heat pack, a blanket, and we sell other drinks and snacks at the clinic.
