At HealthSpace Collective, we’re committed to making your visit as easy and stress-free as possible. That’s why we offer direct billing for a wide range of insurance providers. However, it’s important to know that not all insurance plans or services qualify for direct billing. When that’s the case, payment will be required at the time of your appointment, and you’ll need to submit your claim manually.


What You Should Know

Insurance Plan Rules
Some benefit plans don’t support direct billing. If your provider requires manual submission, you’ll need to pay upfront and file the claim yourself.

Service Eligibility Varies
Even if your plan covers naturopathic medicine, chiropractic care, or massage therapy, not every individual service may be eligible for direct billing. In those cases, you’ll need to pay at the time of your visit.

System or Insurer Delays
Occasionally, technical issues or delays from your insurer may prevent us from processing direct billing. If that happens, you’ll be asked to pay in full and submit your claim manually.


When Direct Billing Isn’t an Option

Although we aim to streamline your experience, direct billing may not be available for:

  • Plans that restrict direct billing: Some insurers require members to handle claims directly.

  • Uncovered services: If your plan doesn’t cover a specific treatment, we’ll ask for payment at the time of service.

  • Secondary insurance claims: If you’re using more than one insurance plan, claims for secondary coverage usually need to be submitted by you.


Confirm Your Coverage

Because insurance policies differ, we encourage you to contact your provider in advance to check:

  • If direct billing is supported

  • Which services are covered

  • Any co-pays or deductibles you may be responsible for

HealthSpace Collective currently offers direct billing with most major extended health benefit insurers, including:

If your insurance provider isn’t supported, or if there are any billing issues, you’ll be asked to pay at the time of your appointment and submit your claim independently. We truly appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance your experience with us.
